In the Iris Époque earrings, deep violet amethyst cabochons are surrounded by rich, slightly asymmetrical bead embroidery. Shades of amethyst, antique pewter and bronze give the earrings a touch of old-world glamour.

The earrings are not completely identical, as their shape was designed with an organic Art Nouveau feel.

Materials: amethyst cabochons, amethyst beads, crystal beads and Japanese glass beads. Small connecting rings are stainless steel, and the ear wires are sterling silver (925).

Size: approx. 5 cm long including the ear wire. Each earring weighs approx. 3.5 g.

The earrings come with a one (1) year warranty. See the warranty terms.

About the beadwork thread

The beaded and embroidered jewellery pieces created at the atelier are stitched using Fireline thread, manufactured in the USA. The fibre used in Fireline is known under the Dyneema brand — one of the strongest fibres in the world — made from extremely durable yet lightweight polyethylene (UHMWPE).

Jewellery metals

Metals used across the atelier’s jewellery:

Depending on the design, the jewellery may include the following metals:

• Sterling silver (925)

• Gold-plated sterling silver

• Stainless steel suitable for jewellery use (AISI 304)

• Gold-plated stainless steel

• Solid bronze

Stainless steel is durable, highly resistant to wear and generally well suited for sensitive skin, which is why it is often used for earring hooks and posts.

In some designs, copper or plated brass may be used in structural elements that do not come into direct contact with the skin.

The exact metal used in each piece is always specified in the individual product description. All metal components comply with EU regulations and meet the required limits regarding nickel, lead and cadmium.
